Every patient of Market Ridge Dental makes a difference when it comes to the lives of children in our community. For every new patient that we see, our San Antonio practice provides support to the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas. This unique 501(c)3 non-profit serves grieving children and their families, by providing counseling services and support in times of loss.

Dr. Morrison holds this resource especially close to her heart, as she also experienced childhood grief. During middle school, Dr. Morrison tragically lost her younger sister Erin, who was just 18 months younger than herself.

In honor of Erin, our San Antonio practice gives back to support free resources to other children who have experienced similar family loss.

The Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas is one of the nation’s largest grief centers for children, providing free services to their young clients and their families. In addition to grief counseling, resources like camps, family dinners, and group activities are also offered.
